Prevent foodborne illnesses with these Healthy Potato Salad and Coleslaw Recipes

According to the CDC, 1 out of 6 Americans will get a foodborne illness resulting in sickness, hospitalization and/or death (approximately 3,000 people).

With July 4th almost here, you can help prevent your family and friends from getting sick by making healthy potato salad and coleslaw recipes without mayo, sour cream and eggs. I appeared on KMVT’s Rise and Shine this morning with Danielle Kosir and demonstrated how to make these recipes.

The potato salad is made with olive oil, mustard and dill and the coleslaw is made with Vegenaise, a dairy and egg-free product, that has the texture and taste similar to Miracle Whip.

You can serve these dishes with confidence that these recipes will not spoil in the sun and are delicious too!
