About Jill
“Eating healthy does NOT mean giving up your favorite comfort foods!”
Hi there, I’m Jill
I’m a certified macrobiotic health counselor. I graduated from the Strengthening Health Institute, a premier macrobiotic educational facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am also a graduate of Ohio State University.
I teach vegan cooking classes for both adults and children, lecture to companies and organizations on health and wellness as well as write for various publications. I also have regularly appeared on local morning television shows to discuss healthy eating.
I’m the author of the award winning cookbook “Comfort Food Gets a Vegan Makeover” which features over 62 vegan recipes that taste just like comfort food classics.
Where’s the beef?
Living in Idaho, beef rules. So, to win 2nd place out of 7 entries in a chili cook-off with this vegan chili was one of my proudest moments! You won’t be asking, ”Where’s the beef?” with this recipe.
