We were at The Chew

I just returned from a week in NYC and attended the taping of the television show, The Chew, with my girlfriend Amy. Even though we had tickets, we had to get there by 7:30 a.m. because they basically oversell the show in case there are no shows.

During the break, Carla, one of the co-hosts was dancing in the aisles and since I was on the aisle, I danced with her. The show plays a lot of fun music in between segments to get you really into the show and to perk you up because it is early. They have a stand-up comedian who gets you to laugh and tells you when to clap, chuckle and ooh and ahh.

It was great to see how a national tv show operates and has the food ready for the next segment. The day we filmed, Bobby Flay was on the show. We all received a copy of his latest cookbook. It was a lot of fun!
